Hello, my name is Rod Gainer. Welcome to Championship Golf. Don't be shy! Come in and visit. I hope I will not bore you but I want you to know a little bit about me, OK? My professional golfing career started right here in Myrtle Beach when I graduated from college in 1994. I worked as an assistant head pro at Myrtle Beach National Golf Course. In 1999, I was made the Class A, Head Pro for Beachwood Country Club. After several years managing the club, I realized that I wanted to work with golfers, to build the right equipment and to teach them all the aspects of the game. I knew that with the proper equipment and the right instruction, I could help all my students and friends to reach a new pinnacle with their golf game. It didn't matter about the talent, age, or gender, "I knew that I could make a difference." Thus, in 2001, we took the giant step and founded Championship Golf at Tupelo Bay.

My mission statement was and still is:

"PROPER EQUIPMENT + GREAT INSTRUCTION
= CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF"

CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF ACADEMY

COME ONE, COME ALL to the finest golf teaching academy right in the heart of beautiful Myrtle Beach. Our facility at Tupelo Bay Center accommodates Juniors, Ladies, and Men of all ages and talent. With our Driving Range, 9-Hole Par 3,18 Hole Executive Course, and our state of the art Chipping/Sand/Putting Practice area. We are able to focus on all the aspects of your game.
