Dr. Ben Huang, a former Georgia Tech aerospace engineering professor and consulting scientist in the design of the Saturn V rocket, experienced difficulties during his first exposure to the game of golf.

and pressure points on his hands confirmed the diagnosis. Observations of fellow students signaled he wasn't alone. Huang, who also pioneered the development of high-tech polymer grips for tennis, identified "one-type-fits-all" rubber golf grips as a key problem.
